Giggle Zone
Children are never too young to experience the love of God and to learn about his promises! In Giggle Zone, North Pointe volunteers and staff work together to provide an engaging hour of learning activities on Sunday mornings for children aged two to five. Through play, stories, snack, games, crafts and caring Christian relationships, a faith foundation is built by dedicated volunteers. Preschoolers learn from an orderly and age-appropriate curriculum of Bible lessons. Despite our grandest efforts on Sunday mornings, where do preschool kids learn best? At home! At North Pointe, we aim to support parents both on Sunday mornings and as they teach their children at home day-to-day. As Church leaders, we are given an average of one hour per week with which to teach children about faith. When compared with the numerous hours parents have daily with their children, it is obvious that there is a wonderful opportunity at home for children to learn from their parents about a relationship with Christ. But don’t panic! Faith@Home is an integrated program that teaches parents practical ways that they can achieve this. Events are held during both Sunday morning services on a specified date. We currently offer the following Faith@Home events: Age 2 – October 2011. “How to Bless Your Child.” How else can we be an encouragement to you and partner with you in the nurture of your child’s faith in Jesus?
