Samaritan's Purse

This year again, as a Church and as a community, we are looking forward to taking part in the Shoebox Appeal. This is an annual appeal organized by the charity, Samaritan’s Purse, which, through the Christmas appeal known as Operation Christmas Child, distributes donations of gift-filled shoeboxes around the world to needy children who otherwise would receive no gift at all at Christmas.

In 2010, Canadians blessed 640,569 children and their families with a message of love displayed through a gift-filled shoe box. 

Boxes can be picked up Monday – Friday – 8:30AM – 4:30PM at North Pointe

Boxes can be returned Monday – Friday – 8:30AM – 4:30PM and Sunday 9:00AM – 12:30PM.

Additional drop off times during Collection Week:

Please be in prayer for the Operation Christmas Child campaign and especially for the children who will receive the gift-filled boxes, that their hearts would be open to the love of God as demonstrated through His Son, Jesus.
